8 Series 8" vertical reflectors for use in Non-IC applications with LP8 LP8F and LP8H frame-ins. 8 Series trims are available in a number of styles. Check specification sheet for compatibility with specific housing options. Open reflectors are designed to provide general lighting for areas that require uniform light levels. The smooth appearance helps these reflectors blend easily into the ceiling line. Baffled trims have grooved ridges in the lower portion of the trim to combat glare at the ceiling line. Black baffles are the most effective at absorbing stray high-angle light. Wallwash trims have an asymmetric distribution and direct light toward a vertical surface. Lensed trims are used to conceal the lamp and reduce direct glare. Lensed downlights are especially useful in wet locations and are UL listed for wet locations. They are available in a variety of styles using glass or polycarbonate lenses and drop or flush depths. Sloped ceiling trims are designed to direct light straight down (perpendicular to the floor) when mounted in sloped ceilings. Sloped trim-compatible housings can also accept regular trims so customers can order one housing type for both sloped and regular applications.
